lunch: tofu potato patty on rice

Today for lunch I made a patty that I put on top of rice. (vegan and gluten free)

The patty has firm tofu, naga imo, potato, carrots, onions, and maitake mushrooms.
The seasoning is japanese, and I topped it on some brown japanese rice.

Yum!

Still looking for the perfect meat patty alternative.

health: healthy digestion

Do you have problems with stomach aches, smelly gas and constantly feeling bloated?

These are steps you can take for a healthier gut.
  1. Go gluten free first, when your digestion is back on track, introduce it back to your diet.
  2. Eliminate all animal foods
  3. Eat predominately whole foods - no processed foods.
  4. Eliminate oils - oils are 100% fat calories, it can cause inflammation
  5. Reduce overt fats - nuts, seeds (only a handful) and  (1~2 a week) avocados
  6. Proper food combinations - to maximize energy, make monomeals. prepare meals with only one carb or one fruit etc. combined with leafy greens. meaning the more simple your foods are the less energy it takes to digest the food. This leads to better digestion
  7. Reduce sodium intake
  8. Hydrate! Water is key to get things moving in your digestive system. Drink around 2 liters a day. DO NOT DRINK WITH MEALS. ideally stop drinking 20 minutes before a meal, and do not drink20 minutes after a meal.
